WEEKLY NEWSLETTER FOR CONVERSION-DRIVEN CONTENT CREATORS

Creativity Loves Company
Get out of your head ~ Get inspired ~ Learn new techniques

Hi, %FIRSTNAME%,

There’s nothing like agreeing to something before you really know what it is you’ve said yes to.

Fortunately, this turned out to be a good thing (as I might have said no if I had gotten a preview of what I was going to be partaking in).

This was such a great example of taking one piece of content that enables you to repurpose it into multiple different types of content. It might even spark some ideas for how you can be a little more creative with your content (um, dare I say have more fun?) and get more people to engage with you.

I was recently asked to join the @PlaySideHustle LIVE game on Facebook, by the creators of the card game, Side Hustle: The Party Game for Entrepreneurs. I know one of the founders, Darby Rollins, having connected with him in the Jarvis Facebook group and having just had him on my podcast.

I’m glad I said yes before watching an episode because I got a little nervous when I realized what I was going to have to do.

Fortunately, my competitive nature kicked in and I knew I wanted to step up and doing something that was a little bit outside of my comfort zone.

You can read about the game and watch the episode in this post. I’ve also given you an example of how you might be able to do something in your own business, even without having a card game for sale.

Creativity loves company! Tools to test and try…

  • Bio.link
Link in bio, but with a spin. We all have the “link in bio” on our Instagram accounts (hopefully). There are so many tools available to do this, but how about a free tool that also lets you add an email opt-in to your link in bio page? Easy to use and won’t cost you a penny.
  • Veed
Easy video editing with captions. In addition to looking great, this video editing tool makes it easy to add captions to your videos (also a usability issue). Not only can you add them but you can also customize the look & style on these. Found this through a friend, but haven’t tried it yet (Thanks Piccia!).
  • Smart Quiz Builder
Build quizzes for your site. Jodi shared this plugin that she found recently and it’s too good not to share. Easily build all kinds of quizzes for your WordPress site.
