Hi, %FIRSTNAME%,

One of our goals here is to make things easier for you.

Sometimes I think with online marketing that’s a bit of an oxymoron. ????

There are so many moving parts to get going and then you need to make sure that they’re all working together, whether that’s directly (through something like an integration) or supporting the end goal (driving traffic to your website).

There isn’t really one place you can go online to learn everything you need to know (and I don’t know that I’d trust it anyway, since the internet moves at lightning speed), but there are a few things that when done consistently and done well, will help you achieve your goals of a successful online business (even if your online presence is supporting your offline business).

I’ve said before how you’re never really “done” in this space.

There is always more you can do… more content to create, more people to connect with, more conversations to be had, more strategies to learn.

I try not to think too much about it too frequently or it becomes overwhelming.

This is why I wrote this post.

There are 3 things you need to do, regardless of every other strategy or tactic available, that will guarantee your success online. Keep in mind each of these 3 things goes way deeper than I’ve included in this post, but if you keep coming back to these 3 things I guarantee you’ll reach your goals sooner rather than later.

Read “Success Online Will Always Come Down to 3 Things” here.

Happy creating!

The Ultimate Guide to All Types of Videos and When to Use them
I’ve accepted the fact that I should probably start ‘upping’ my video game. However, I need a plan and a strategy. This post is a great guide for thinking through and planning a video content strategy.

NEW Facebook audio features
I love that audio is getting all kinds of love these days. I know video is powerful, but audio doesn’t require me to get “ready” (just keeping it real for you). Looks like Facebook is putting a lot into their upcoming audio products.

Better Together…

Creativity loves company! Tools to test and try…

  • SideNotes
This app should hopefully save me from the zillion sticky notes I end up with all over my desk. An app (Mac only) that makes it easy to jot notes down in a sidebar that you can hide and access easily.
  • Revive Old Posts
Updating and sending traffic to old content is a great SEO strategy that most of us probably forget to implement (note to self here). This free WordPress plugin makes it easy to schedule posts and share directly to your social profiles (and a lot more).
  • LemonSqueezy
Sell digital products the easy peasy way. Confession: thats’s their tagline. This looks like a great alternative to Gumroad (and actually “looks” better). If you want to sell digital products (and create a store), this could be a great solution (and if not, at least go to the site and check out their chat bubble on the bottom right. It’s hilarious).
