Get out of your head ~ Get inspired ~ Learn new techniques

Hi %FIRSTNAME%,

How’s it going over there? Are you creating lots of content? Are you capturing leads with it? Even better, are you generating sales from it?

I strive to focus my efforts on those essential things that have the most impact. The Pareto principle states that for many outcomes, roughly 80% of consequences come from 20% of causes (the “vital few”).

When it comes to creating and promoting content, one of the most important elements is the call-to-action, and for many, it is an after-thought. Even worse, I see many posts that don’t have one at all. What a missed opportunity that is.

Without calls to action in our posts, the reader is left to meander their own path without the benefit of our expert guidance. And worse, we cannot reach them unless we have their contact info or pay for retargeting ads.  We’ll be lucky if that reader ever returns to our site.

One of the page templates in the Content Creators is for Monthly Campaigns. It has 4 quadrants: Goals for the Month, Content Topics, Calls to Action, and Offer. Our intention is that you are very intentional and strategically plan these things out BEFORE you start creating content.

How are you approaching your CTAs? Is it the last thing you think about when creating your content? Are you strategic with them? Do you have unique ones for each content topic in your blog? Do you have just one throughout all your content?

How do you choose the right call-to-action for your posts?

Happy Creating,
