The Content Creators Manifesto

How’s it going? The last month has been a blur for me. October is always my busiest time with clients. After all these years, you’d think I’d see it coming, but I never do. It hits all at once with no build-up. 

When I feel the stress of deadlines, the urgency and expectations of others, the pressure… it can be paralyzing. The irony is that it makes it harder to create which is what people what from me in the first place. Such is life and business as a creative.

When I am able to block it all out and find my creative flow, I am reminded why I am here. I am a creator. And creators create. I am never more in my flow than when I am creating. It is a powerful reminder that this is why I am here; what I am meant to do.

I think sometimes we get focused on business, getting clients, marketing, deadlines and client work — you know, all the things — and we lose touch with our true nature as creators. Especially this nutty time of year, racing to the finish line. 

Do yourself a favor and block it all out, find your flow, and go create something. Experience the joy of it. Make some magic.
