Planning Your Holiday Content (and staying sane)

How on earth is it almost the middle of October already?

With less than 3 months left to the year, it’s time to look at your holiday content strategy (if you haven’t already).

Fortunately, this isn’t about adding a bunch of tasks to your already-busy-schedule. In this post, the goal is to look at what you already have and how you can get more leverage from what you’ve already created.

Increasing your promotion, with a clear call-to-action and solid follow-up sequence where you make an offer, is plenty.

Unless you’ve already been planning and are working on something to release at this time of year, now isn’t the time to put extra pressure on yourself.

I’ve created a quick guide on how you can create a holiday content strategy that drives traffic and sales without adding extra stress or pressure.

Kicking Shame to the Curb

No matter what stage your business is in, it’s hard not to look around once in a while and compare where you’re at and how you’re doing.

Social Media has created a never-ending-stream of “highlight reels” and we usually only see the big wins that are happening for other people.

If you’re not careful you can end up comparing yourself in ways that only distract you from the progress you’re making. You never know if you’re comparing your “year 2” to someone else’s “year 10.” Comparing yourself to others can take you down a path of shame and frustration faster than just about anything else.

I recently brought my podcast back and decided to go deep on the role shame has in my business and how I’ve completely reframed it. I’ll never look at shame the same way again.
